Free Beach Music Concert Series

In the summer of rising gas prices, Yorktown Virginia is offering something free!

This summer you and your family can take advantage of the
3rd Annual
“Shagging on the Riverwalk” Beach Music Concert Series

This concert series takes place on Friday evenings all summer long. The concerts start run from 6:30 to 9:30 and they are completely FREE!

When you come to enjoy the music there are other things you can take look forward to:

• Kids face painting and balloons
• dancing on the largest outside dance floor in the area
• food and beverages for sale
• and The Colonial Shag Club will be there weekly to offer mini Shag lessons, information, and demos!

  If you are planning to join the festivities bring your own lawn chairs or beach blankets. It will make the concert much more enjoyable because there is no seating provided.

  Why not make a day of it and spend the afternoon at the Yorktown beach and then stay for dinner and the concert.

  The Riverwalk Landing and Yorktown beach is one of my families favorite places to spend a relaxing day together.
